The Diamond VIP TR 2200 provides para transit and executive coach lines on the new Transit Cutaway chassis. The Transit Cutaway offers several options including limo/casino tables, luggage racks, and wheelchair lifts.
Occupancy – The VIP TR 2200 offers multiple floor plans. Popular plans include two that offer seating for 7 passengers and 2 wheelchairs with a rear lift or 4 passengers and 3 wheelchairs with a front lift. Another popular plans offers seating for 14 passengers with 33″ of depth for luggage storage.
Comfort – Passengers will experience spacious interior headroom.
Visibility – Passengers will enjoy views with large windows with an option to add tour bonded windows for thermal control.
Ride quality – Unlike metal buses that creak with every bump and turn, Diamond’s all composite construction is smooth and quiet. Diamond buses provide superior sound dampening. For example, Diamond sidewalls are never glued, taped, or filled with Styrofoam. Diamond also installs thick rubber pads between the “I-Beams” and floor to help cushion the ride while reducing road noise. All of these details provide the superior ride quality customers expect from a Diamond.
